Corporate Social Responsibility used to be seen as a separate group of activities and promises that companies made to their customers, and to improve the world around them.  But, as CSR has evolved, it has come to be the heart and soul of companies, as well the set of factors that make their brand and company cultures differentiated and relevant.  Join us for cocktails and appetizers to hear a panel of experts discuss trends in CSR, how CSR is brought to life within companies (both big and small) today, and walk through an exercise that helps to clarify your CSR statement and give it life.

Our Panelists:
Nancy Himmelfarb is a Principal at NJH Sustainability Consulting, helping companies leverage corporate social responsibility (CSR) to build trust and competitive advantage.  Using her proprietary 3 Vs™ framework, she helps companies understand the value of CSR and develop a unique point of view that they can execute against and communicate effectively, both internally and externally. She brings a unique combination of business, legal and sustainability expertise, including 15 years’ experience as corporate attorney, general counsel and board advisor for public and private companies. Nancy develops CSR solutions for businesses in all industries, with an emphasis on food and healthcare. 

Grant Prentice, is a senior vice president of strategic insights at FoodMinds, a division of Padilla. FoodMinds provides consulting and communications services specializing in harnessing science, public affairs, food values and communications to meet business and public health objectives.
