Harvey is a frequent speaker at industry events.

Kathryn Fenner,  Principal,  Technomic

Kathryn is responsible for managing and executing research and consulting programs for manufacturers, restaurant operators and trade associations throughout the foodservice industry. The innovation, convenience and education segments are her specific areas of emphasis.

Lizzy Freier,  Managing Editor,  Technomic

Lizzy Freier is a managing editor at Technomic, with a focus on menu trends. She covers trending flavors, ingredients, dishes and preparations for food and beverage at independent restaurants, emerging chains and top chain restaurant brands, as well as non-commercial operations. Freier has also analyzed global trends. She has presented at numerous conferences in the U.S. and Canada on menu trend development for restaurant operators, manufacturers and distributors. Freier has a degree in English from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and currently resides in Chicago.

Joe Pawlak, Managing Principal, Technomic

Joe is head of the Advisory Practice, Technomic’s vertical that is engaged in food industry proprietary and multi-client consulting and research assignments. A 30-year food industry veteran, Joe’s experience encompasses virtually all food industry categories and channels.

Sara Rush Wirth (moderator), Executive Editor of Restaurant Business, Winsight

Sara Rush Wirth is Executive Editor at Restaurant Business, where she plans and contributes to the magazine, website and e-newsletters. Sara’s background in food writing includes both foodservice and culinary experiences. Prior to joining Restaurant Business, Sara was an editor in the cookbook department for Publications International. Previously, she was on the editorial team at Technomic, a market-research firm within the foodservice industry. Sara studied English at the University of Wisconsin, Madison. She also received her professional cookery certificate from Kendall College in Chicago. Sara currently resides in Chicago.
