Allen Stevens, Maintenance Manager, Miracapo Pizza
Allen has been with Miracapo Pizza for over 11 years and has been in food manufacturing for over 25 years. He enjoys using his skills to contribute to the exciting technological advances in predictive maintenance. Part of the technology is using an ultra-sonic tool to predict failures before they happen and running data tend lines that alerts them before they incur a major failure.
Allen has a background in ammonia refrigeration systems and has managed several large systems which has helped him working with energy conservation and understanding the components and operation.
Ron is an Industrial Refrigeration Lead at Mars Wrigley. His background is primarily in Industrial Ammonia Refrigeration and Industrial / Commercial HVAC. He has experience in many areas of industrial / commercial refrigeration, controls, PSM /RMP, project management experience, design, and start-up of ammonia engine rooms and industrial refrigeration systems. He leads a team of 10 technical associates in a 24/7 operation.
Brian Smith, Chief Engineer, U.S. Cold
Brian has worked at US Cold storage for 31 years in the maintenance department. He was maintenance supervisor for 6 years at Minooka, where he was promoted to the Chief position in 2004. In 2020 he was promoted to Area chief covering Illinois and Nebraska location. During his time at US Cold, he has been a part of several additions added to the Minooka location and has overseen several energy reduction projects. Brian has been a member of Refrigeration Engineers and Technicians Association (RETA) for 31 years.
