Here are some other benefits Illinois Tech have added to their career services program for the students to prepare them for the fair:

  • VIP Program: Career Services offers a VIP badge to students who put in extra time and preparation for the Career Fair. We consider these students our "VIPs". Employers will have two special sessions just for VIP students to access during the career fair day- spend more time talking with our bright students. All employers will also receive access to a Google Drive containing resumes from our VIP students.
  • On-Campus Interviewing: Career Service can offer space for interviewing leading up to the Career Fair date and also after. It is typically a first come-first served basis.
  • Pre or Post Engagement Activities: To get the most out of recruiting at Illinois Tech, Career Services will coordinate pre and/or post engagement activities for you. Some of the popular activities employers have hosted in the past are: Info Sessions, Lunch + Learns, Panel Discussions, Collaboration with Student Organizations, and Career Fair Prep Sessions.

If you should have any questions please feel free to reach out to either Nicholas Mancari, nmancari@iit.edu or Cindy Koschetz, ckoschet@iit.edu, we will be happy to assist you.

In addition to the CF the CS department is coordinating company visits for their students to visit during Illinois Tech Spring Break week (March 11-15). They were hoping to include some food companies to participate.  This is a great recruiting tool for employers to show off their workspace, network, and attract talent.

If your company is interested and would like to work with Illinois Tech, please feel free to reach out to Cindy Koschetz ckoschet@iit.edu or directly to Nicholas Mancari nmancari@iit.edu who will be more than happy to coordinate.
